LM - LUCS Monitor (FE Core)

The LM (or FE Core) service is an active – passive component and has to be installed on all LUCS server machines. LM (or FE Core) is responsible for providing the LUCS Frontend with the appropriated information.

Installation

The FE Setup adds LUCS FE to the Internet Information Services (IIS) and adds LM (FE Core) to the Services. FE Core uses the LM configuration data from LUCS Configurator. The installation is described in the the FE Setup chapter of this document.

Configuration

In the WebConfigurator application:

• Open -> Topology -> Components (Server)

• Add LM component as it is shown in the example (select the LM Server Type, System Instance, Activity Order and fill the service’s Settings according to the table below):
