Before you Start

This section focuses on user settings which are available to TENANT ADMINSITE ADMINCONTACT ADMIN User Roles.

(info) If you are a SYSTEM ADMIN you will not see this menu entry. You most-likely want to adjust System Settings instead.

Account Tab

TENANT ADMINSITE ADMINCONTACT ADMIN

The "Account" tab allows to adjust name and password for your currently signed-in user.  

When using a RTC exclusive user can also change your password here. To change the password, enter a new one in both fields and confirm.

(lightbulb) It is not allowed to use the same password as set before

(lightbulb) O365 users will not be able to change their account password here

If specified values are invalid or required fields are empty, the system does not allow changes saving, the corresponding message appears and the invalid value is highlighted with red;

Tenant Tab

TENANT ADMIN

On this tab you can access the following tenant-wide settings:

Base Api Internal UrlURL used by Admin and has limited access in internal network;
Base Api External Url

URL used by Web-client and has no network restrictions;

Header Key

Optional field.

Can be used to create a custom HTTP header for all the HTTP requests made by RTC Launcher Client.

Header ValueThe value of the 'Header Key' for custom header for all the HTTP requests made by RTC Launcher Client. The filed becomes enabled and mandatory only if 'Header Key' is set.
License Key for SDKIt is generated and assigned for each Tenant while creation. New key can be requested upon clicking ‘Refresh Key’ button. The key used for SDK settings. If the key does not match or tenant\site is disabled the error message for SDK client will be shown.
Show Conversation ParticipantsDisplay the avatars and names of the conversation participants.
Send chat history

Enable or disable the possibility to send chat history to the additionally added participants of the conversation.

Enable auto-sync contacts on addingEnable or disable the automation synchronization of added contact information with Active Directory.
VCard Information enabledEnables vCard (Virtual Contact File) for the contact belonging to the tenant, which can be viewed or downloaded. Setting can be overwritten per contact on Contacts page. If disabled vCard is not accessible per contact at all.

API Key Tab

TENANT ADMIN

(lightbulb) Only required for RTC IOS Mobile Client.

Allows you to generate/add API keysThese are required to use the RTC Launcher BackendAPI applications. The key must be sent in every request header.

EWS Integration Tab

TENANT ADMIN

Allows to synchronize avatars via Exchange server

FieldDescription
EWS address

The exchange server URL for Tenant integration.

(lightbulb) Example:  https://mail.luware.com/ews/Exchange.asmx ;

User nameName of user existing on the specified exchange server
PasswordUsed for user authentication

(warning) Valid values must be provided or saving is not possible.

(tick) After exchange is configured, navigate to Contacts to synchronize avatars in Avatars section.

Co-Browsing Tab

TENANT ADMIN

Before you start

  • Hosted by Luware: Co-browsing tab becomes available in Settings if System Administrator enables the option for a specific tenant. As tenant admin you can override these settings if you want to use your own Surfly account.
  • On-Prem: This feature is only available if configured as part of the System Settings Configuration (Surfly account). Also refer to the Prerequirements for details.

(lightbulb) Inherited by System Settings the fields on this tab are disabled until the 'Overwrite System Settings checkbox' is active.

The following settings are predefined from System Settings and Surfly client.

  • Surfly Server URL
  • Surfly REST API Key
  • Surfly Client Key
  • Surfly Widget Key

Enabling Co-Browsing on Agent machines

TENANT ADMIN & RTC Launcher Client Users

(tick) Preconditon: The Co-Browsing feature needs to be enabled locally for each RTC Launcher Agent, via import of a Registry Key.

Download Registry Key

RTC Launcher users can access the key via the User Menu > Help and import the key manually.

Import Registry Key

The key needs to be imported with local Administrator rights on each Agent machine where the feature needs to be used.
