NimbusOne lets you transfer a conversation to another destination. This page describes the transfer types and the swap and merge options available during a consultative transfer.

Transfer types

• Blind transfer — hand over immediately. You drop the call and are free for the next task.
• Safe transfer — stay until the other party picks up. If the destination does not answer you get the call back.
• Consultative transfer — talk to the other party first, then connect and cancel.

Consultation: Swap and merge

During a consultative transfer, while you are connected to the destination and the caller is on hold, you can:

• Swap — switch back and forth between the caller and the consulted destination target.
• Merge — bring both parties together into the same conversation.
