How to use the Luware Recording knowledge base

A guide for customers and end users

The Luware Recording knowledge base is your central resource for everything related to the platform — from getting started and day-to-day usage through to compliance features and integrations. This article explains how the knowledge base is structured and how to get the most out of it.

What is the knowledge base?

The knowledge base is kept in line with the latest version of Luware Recording. Because the platform is a cloud-based service, it is updated regularly — and the knowledge base is updated to match. This means the content you read reflects what you will see in the product today.

☝Please Note

You may occasionally notice that a screenshot looks slightly different from what you see in the platform. This is normal and simply means a recent update has rolled out. The underlying functionality described will remain the same.

How the knowledge base is structured

The knowledge base is organised into sections based on who you are and what you need to do. Here is a quick overview:

Section What you will find
Introduction to Recording Log in and navigate the interface
Searching for recordings Find conversations by date, user, or keyword
Playback and review Listen to and review recorded calls
Speech analytics Transcripts, topics, sentiment, and summaries
Administration Users, roles, storage, and compliance settings
FAQ and troubleshooting Common questions and known issues

Getting started

How to Log In

For logging in to the Luware Recording Portal, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Luware Recording Portal website.
  2. Enter your Windows username and click Next.
  3. Click the Sign in with my Windows Account button.
⮑ This will send the credentials to the Microsoft Entra ID and sign you in if the Entra ID returns a positive response.

💡 To get the global website for the German or Swiss Multi-Tenant, contact your Luware Administrator.

There are two main ways to find what you need:

  1. Browse by section — use the category menu on the left to explore topics by area.
  2. Search — use the search bar at the top of the page to find articles by keyword.

The knowledge base covers content for different audiences. If you are an end user looking for guidance on daily tasks, start with the Usage of Recording section. If you are an administrator responsible for setup and configuration, the Initial Setup and Administration sections are your starting point.

Understanding the icons

Throughout the knowledge base you will see icons that indicate the type of information being presented. Here is what each one means:

Pay particular attention to Notes and Warnings — they highlight steps where errors can have a lasting impact on your configuration or data.

Keeping up to date

Luware Recording is updated on a regular basis. To stay informed:

Check the Release Notes section for a detailed summary of what has changed in each update.

Visit the Luware Cloud Status page at status.luware.com for information on planned maintenance and service availability.

When a significant update is being rolled out in stages, it is possible that a feature described in the knowledge base may not yet be available in your environment. The release notes will indicate when staged rollouts are in progress.

If something looks wrong

The knowledge base is reviewed and updated regularly. If you find content that appears outdated, incorrect, or unclear, please get in touch with the Luware support team. Your feedback helps improve the experience for everyone.
